At any professional sporting event there are two distinct groups of people. There’s the people who are on the teams competing. They’re out there putting in work, grinding, doing stuff. And then there’s the spectators. There’s people who are there to watch the teams compete. There’s people who are there to benefit from the people who are on the teams, the people who are competing, the people who are doing stuff. Oftentimes that can be how churches operate. There’s a group of people who do the stuff, who do the ministry, who serve and there’s another group, often a larger group, who are there to benefit from the people that are doing the stuff. We don’t want to be there here. We want everyone on the team. We want everyone in the game, we want everyone doing stuff, we want everyone serving.
