Easter front

Easter is the central Christian holiday - a day when we celebrate Christ's victory over death, a victory God shares with us.  On April 21st at 10 am at Forest Park High School we invite you to come celebrate at Spirit & Life.  Our worship that day will feature live modern worship music, an inspiring message, and a special program for children.

We offer coffee, snacks, and fellowship in the cafeteria around 9:30AM before worship.

During worship, you'll experience a relevant sermon message along with live worship music and prayer. Communion is an integral part of our worship experience, and we celebrate it every week.

Bring fresh cut flowers with you as we demonstrate how our God makes great beauty spring forth from the places of deepest pain. We hope you’ll join us.

Checking us out for the first time?

Awesome!  Here are some frequently asked questions to make your experience with us easier.

Where do I park?

There is ample parking available at Forest Park High School.  As you pull into the school park in the main (massive) parking area outside entrance #3.  Look for our flag banners for our main entrance.

Do you all offer child care?

On Easter Sunday and every Sunday we have age appropriate children's ministries.  For the youngest of God's children (birth-3) we offer nursery care.  Nursery care is available as soon as the worship service begins.

From 3 years of age (and potty trained) through third grade we have "Team Jesus," a multi-faceted children's program complete with snacks, games, the Easter story, and crafts.  Children in "Team Jesus" begin in worship with their family, are invited to come forward for a special children's message with Pastor Matt, and then go into our children's area with Ms. Janice.

Our 'tweens', 4th through 6th graders, are invited into our TAG (tweens and God) program.  Our TAG children remain in worship until the sermon and then are invited into our children's ministry area for an age appropriate Bible study during the sermon.

All children's age level ministries meet in the same area: Forest Park's "enclosed cafeteria."

What should I wear?

We invite you to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.  Our pastor will be wearing jeans and a button down shirt.  Our mission is to help you authentically encounter Jesus Christ; we invite you to wear clothing that represents your authentic self.

What else do I need to know about your Easter worship?

Every week at Spirit & Life we celebrate Holy Communion.  We do this because we believe this is an outward and visible sign and an inward and spiritual encounter with Jesus Christ.  Everyone, regardless of age or church membership, is welcome to receive Holy Communion.  Our children will come back into our worship area to receive Holy Communion (*if you do not wish for your child to receive Communion there is a space on the children's ministry registration form for you to alert us).

Additionally, the first part of worship will involve placing flowers onto a cross.  If you're able, please bring fresh cut flowers with you to worship.  Spirit & Life will have extra flowers available if you are unable to bring your own.
