Lent Devotional 5

Ezekiel 37 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”
Finally we arrive at the most important question people of faith can answer: can dry bones live? Can a man who died on a cross be raised from the dead? Can our lives and our spirits be animated by God’s Spirit and come to life? This is the central question of the Christian faith and it’s the central question of Lent. What do you believe? Can these dry bones live?
If so, than what valley of dry bones still exists in your life? Where does God need to bring new hope and new life?
