From the beginning, Spirit & Life Church was founded in order to reach our friends, families, neighbors, and the world around us with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our vision is that we would be a living sign of God’s presence in our community. And this year we’ve sensed God calling us deeper and further.
After a week of prayer together in January, we discerned that God was leading us to move from being a church with an English service and a bilingual service, to one, unified, multiethnic and multigenerational body. Our intent is to reflect the makeup of the community in which we serve, and to be a witness to the power of God’s love to unite those of all backgrounds who truly seek Him. We adopted this new vision in February, and in just 8 short months, we’ve taken leaps and bounds toward becoming a truly multiethnic church.
Even as we continue to walk through this time of pandemic, we’re continuing to put our trust in God and remain faithful to His calling on our lives and on our church. Today I invite you to put your faith into action by making a new financial stewardship pledge for 2021. Your financial pledge is an expression of your faith, and allows Spirit & Life Church to continue in our mission to help people authentically encounter Jesus Christ through worship and small groups for lives of service. Will you join us?
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Donna Taylor
